Habyt Unveils Kada at Maxwell, A New Flex Property in Singapore

Habyt, a global leader in flexible living solutions, is excited to announce the launch of Habyt Kada at Maxwell, which is strategically located at 5 Kadayanallur Street at Tanjong Pagar. As the largest provider of flexible accommodation for all lengths of stays, the opening of this new flagship development marks a milestone in Habyt’s strategic shift in broadening its product offerings beyond long term co-living.

As such, Habyt Kada at Maxwell is part of the Habyt Flex concept, which is designed to offer a multifaceted lifestyle experience, combining essential amenities under one roof and allowing for short and long term stays. Facilities such as a gym (in partnership with Limitless, a performance gym), wellness centre (in partnership with Shiruki Studio), and co-working space are all available within the property as well as multiple shared areas purpose-built for fostering social interaction and networking opportunities.

Habyt Kada at Maxwell is within a preserved heritage building dating back to the 1920s colonial period and is recognised as one of the earliest Modernist buildings to be constructed in Singapore. It consists of 3-floors and 4,359 square feet of living space. There are 18 exquisitely designed rooms ranging from ensuite to studio, 2-bedroom and 3-bedroom, which feature a fully equipped kitchenette and offer guests the view of the city’s urban landscape, including Duxton Pinnacle and historic shophouses nearby. The famous Maxwell Food Centre, Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, Chinatown, and nearby MRT stations are just steps away, making it easy for those staying at Kada to explore the area.

As part of the Habyt Flex concept, where the duration of stay range from weekly to 12-months or more, Habyt Kada at Maxwell offers flexible and affordable rates where guests have unlimited and complimentary access to the health and wellness amenities within the property such as a performance gym, cold plunge, infrared saunas, hot tubs, and foot baths, all designed to promote relaxation and rejuvenation. Rates start from around S$180 per night — a first in Singapore to offer this suite of amenities at this price point.

Jonathan Wong, CEO Habyt APAC, shared, “Habyt Kada at Maxwell represents our commitment to redefining flexible living in Singapore, and marks our strategic shift towards the next phase of evolution for us in Habyt APAC. By blending modern conveniences with the timeless charm of a heritage building, we’re offering guests a unique lifestyle experience that goes beyond traditional accommodation. Whether short-term visitors or long-term residents, our guests will enjoy the best of wellness, community, and convenience in one of Singapore’s most vibrant districts.”

The ground floor hosts a cluster of quaint shops and charming eats. On the 2nd floor, guests will find a gym alongside the ice baths, hydrotherapy, an infrared sauna and more. The 3rd floor features the Oasis Lounge, a co-working space to accommodate modern working arrangements. Also on the third floor are the curated rooms, each equipped with a private or semi-private kitchen, offering a more flexible and home-like stay for the comfort of both short and long-term visitors.

On top of the exceptional amenities, the heritage building of Habyt Kada at Maxwell was one of the landmarks in Discovering Singapore’s Best Kept Secrets, a collaboration with Singapore Land Authority. Designed by Swan & Maclaren, the architectural firm behind iconic landmarks such as the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Raffles Hotel, the building retains its striking triangular podium and also houses a unique antique elevator with collapsible iron gates and wooden panels which is one of the oldest fully functioning elevators in the country.

From digital nomads to relocating expats to residents looking for an integrated living experience, Habyt Kada at Maxwell with its flexible stay and wide selection of wellness facilities, co-working space, F&B outlets and shops, showcases the company’s commitment to adapting functional living spaces to emerging trends and needs. This new flagship addition is the 5th Habyt Flex concept property in Singapore including the recently launched Habyt Kallang and Habyt Novena, and the existing flagships, the pet-friendly Habyt Cantonment and Owen House by Habyt.
