About the cityOttawa, Canada’s vibrant capital

Canada’s capital city is located on the banks of the eponymous river between Toronto and Montreal. Ottawa’s name, "Odàwà&quot", means person in the First Nation's language. The Ottawa River, was a well known trade route superhighway serving a large part of Eastern Canada and extending south as far as Ohio. That influence extends to the city’s present-day convergence of many regional cultures. From diverse cuisines to notable museums, the blend of historic and contemporary attractions make Ottawa a vibrant place to live.
